I am a serious singer/songwriter currently working on a relatively successful music side project in Bristol, looking to explore new and interesting opportunities with a number of serious and like minded musicians interested in exploring some of my original repertoire as a solo artist - no costs involved but paid gigs will be on the tick list.

A singer, songwriter, producer and composer AUGUST is best known for her work as the founder, director and lead vocalist of the popular live act and festival favourites Bass Choir. As a solo artist she's also been peppering our playlists for the last two years with a series of beguiling, brooding, dark soul fusions.
Deliciously unclassifiable, previous releases such as Empty Languages, Careless and No Release sit between multiple genres from trip-hop to Jungle via dubstep. Prioritising vibe and sentiment over any sense of boundaries or stifling pigeonhole, each cut from AUGUST so far has hit hard with that smouldering, dark soul feel that Bristol has been synonymous with since the primordial days of the Wild Bunch collective which spawned a movement comprising the likes of Tricky, Massive Attack and Portishead.
With collaborations set for this year, thousands of streams already under her belt and comparisons to FKA Twigs, Kelela and Keiyaa (with added amen breaks), AUGUST is set for big things.'Never Give Up’ the latest single is out now with new releases planned for 2024.
