Hi,
Im a 21 year old guitarist (been playing roughly 4 years now) into hard rock, metal, prog, and a bit of blues; bands such as Iron Maiden, Lynch Mob, Dokken, SKid Row, Judas Priest, Dream Theater, UFO, AC/DC, Megadeth, Mr Big, and so on, to Black Sabbath, Dimmu Borgir, Dissection and such.
Ive not played in any bands before, I would love to and am looking to join a good, powerful hard rock/metal band. I don't have much in the way of amplification (a 20w amp in the corner; no reason to get anything bigger yet) - I'm interested in jamming with like-minded guitarists, on originals and covers, as well as joining a band and gigging, be it originals or covers, although I'd prefer to play originals above all!

I like to play both lead and rhythm guitar, but I lean more towards melodic lead guitar; my main influences are Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden), Joe Satriani, and Michael Schenker, and I also like Gary Moore, Marty Friedman, Slash, Vinnie Moore, Yngwie Malmsteen - guitarists with a knack for melody, I guess.
