ABOUT

I'm looking to get back into live gigs after many years in the semi-wilderness!.Origins in the folk club scene in the 60's, then several decades of not very much. Started playing again about 15 years ago when I treated myself to my first electric guitar. Subsequently played a few gigs with a school staff big band, now with an ad hoc cricket club band (3 core members, still ongoing) and recently bought a bass guitar (and amp) to see how it went! Would now like to play on a more regular basis, either folk / folk-rock or pop-rock (west coast style).

Trad and modern folk (Martin Carthy, Pentangle - esp. John Renbourne - Cyril Tawney, Dubliners, Spinners, Dylan, S & G, etc; pop/rock in general (esp. Chicago, Beatles, Eagles, Dire Straits, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bowie, Kansas, west coast, etc - in no particular order), but happy to try most genres.
