We are called Heartwood We are an acoustic band performing mostly our own music along with a few covers our music is really a hybrid of many styles but we have been described as country rock or even alt' Country although we have quite a mixture of styles in what we play.
We have a very talented young Female Lead singer. We Have a very experienced Bass player and a Drummer/Cajon player. I'm an old git, my Own background is that of a multi instumentalist however at present my main instruments is the guitar, We are hoping to find a lead guitarist we are looking for subtlety and not flash We are looking for someone who can play in any Key Can play open tunings can play leads and chords that compliment the music not kill it, We are looking for a Joe Walsh. or a Lyndsey Bukingham or a Warren Haynes or an Acoutic Jimmy Page any enquiries [email protected] All applicants must have transport

Bands we admire are Heart Civil wars Fleetwood Mac but the list is not really exclusive.
We cover Jefferson Airplane, Pat benatar Tom Petty Stevie Nicks Fleetwood Mac and some country performers done in our own style we would like to add further intruments as I can play Banjo Bazouki Mandolin Mandola Harmonica Slide guitar and cigar Box guitars this would give us a very unique sound it's very early days yet so if you are interested now would be the time to join

I have lots of equipment Guitars, Cigar box guitars Banjo Bazouki mandolin Mandola Harmonicas and I have all the equipment ( I provide most of it for the band) currently looking at a top of the line PA too
Most of the place we play usually have there own PA but they have not been that good in all honesty so I have decided to get one for the band
