Hi I'm a beginner musician who's dream is to one day join a band. I can play some piano and sing. My singing isn't incredible but it's probably in tune and there are worse live rock singers out there. I also write loads of songs though I don't usually know how to make instrumentals to go with them so just sing them acapella. Willing to learn guitar if people think it would be needed. Currently I think it would be best to aim for a cover band but one day hope to be able to play original music. Songs I'm working on: 1. Waking up in vegas, 2. I can play on piano 'i just threw out the love of my dreams' and sing along to it but my singings not so good for this one. 3. Teenage dirtbag 4. Death of a bachelor 5. I caught myself. 6. Leech, original song with piano that I've recorded properly though it doesn't sound the way I want it to at all, I just always mess it up when singing and playing at the same time
Would love to be in a band with people of a similar level to me. If you're someone who stays a beginner no matter how much you practice, who can't wrap your head around chords or music theory but play anyway, have trouble saying in tune or differentiating keys, join my band and we'll hopefully learn together, because just because your not naturally talented at your passion doesn't mean you shouldn't pursue it anyway!
