Extremely enthusiastic and accomplished recorder player, skilled on numerous other instruments (including pianoforte (Grade 8) and double bass (Grade 7)), available for teaching recorder any age group Grades 1-8.
Previously taught for one year at Woodbridge School. Am an active member of a local recorder orchestra, who perform publicly annually, and am also interested in taking workshops and leading public performances. Have also been involved in numerous concerts internationally, as a soloist, an ensemble member and as an event organiser and tutor.
I also have a soprano, alto and bass crumhorn and a tenor cornamuse and am always expanding my collection, particularly of authenically made early musical instruments, and would be very interested in setting up a Mediaeval group.
Also as an accomplished double bass player who was in the NCO and has since gone on to be involved in many paid events up and down the country, I also play electric bass guitar to a high level.
Would also be willing to take elementary piano pupils of all ages, or to work as a double bass player in an ensemble or orchestra.
Am willing to travel anywhere in Suffolk, or elsewhere if cost is covered.
