My name's Alfie, I'm a 26 year old drummer based on the border between Kent and East Sussex. I have been drumming for over 5 years and only just started gigging earlier this year with a very talented local rock covers band. I absolutely loved every second of it and am now looking to join another band as I was only playing for them while their drummer was unable to play. I mostly play rock and metal covers myself, but learned a lot from those guys about playing stuff I wouldn't normally have bothered learning.
I work full time so finding time to practice can be challenging, but that's not to say that I'm not committed to playing! If I find the right band, I'll move mountains to make time to commit! My most influential drummers are: Mike Portnoy, Nicko McBrain, Nick Menza, John Bonham, Vinnie Paul, Scott Phillips, Phil Ondici, Chris Adler, Lars Ulrich, etc... I like my music loud and heavy, which is also how I like to play \m/
