Hi, I'm Alex, and I've been playing drums for 10 years. I've got plenty of studio and live experience, and I'm looking to play in a band which takes itself seriously, and wants to make something of itself. Of course, fun is essential as well! I'm mainly interested in experimental music, trip hop, post rock, heavy metal and rock music in general.
Additionally, I'd like to try my hand at singing, although I admittedly lack professional experience there - so anyone looking for a singer for maybe a prog rock band or something like that, give me a shout!

Influences
In terms of drumming, my main influences are Josh Freese, of A Perfect Circle, Martin Lopez, formerly of Opeth, and Gavin Harrison, of Porcupine Tree.
My most influential vocalist is Maynard Keenan, from Tool, and Jonas Renske, of Katatonia.
EQUIPMENT
At uni, unfortunately, I can only really manage cymbals, snare and kick pedals.
