Band to Join, Vocalist, Vocalist - Baritone, Bass Guitar, Drums, Vocalist - Alto.

Hello, I'm an eighteen year old guitarist, ermm if you're interested after you've read the rest of this message, please would you be able to explain the type of music you wish to create ? E.g, lyrical wise, music wise, your influences, etc. I'm nowhere near the best guitarist to have lived first things first, so if that's what you're looking for just don't bother reading on. My playing style, well, I'm a lead guitarist but the way I play, it can be just as much in the back ground as the bass and drums, I don't like to be loud and in your face, and never use distortion, I like playing clean, with abit of chorus. I can have a simple open chord strumm riff on acoustic, or electric with peddles to make it sound abit more acousticy, then on the hook/chorus of the song I'll through in some arpeggio jangle slow picking, I just like to complement songs with a bit of colour now and then, I love to play with feeling and create stuff that's pleasant to listen to. I wanted to start my own band because I have a set vision of how I want the band I'm in to sound, you know? I want to make music that means something to people, that just tells them about there life, the smiths are my biggest influences and they're certainly no bands like them, now or since. A morrissey lyric "the music that they constantly play, it says nothing to me about my life" well that Somes up music now for me. It has to mean something, mess with controversial subjects and politics, lyrically. I don't want to sound like just another indie band, I use the term indie on how it's represented today. Thankyou, if you read on, Alex.
