I've been playing in bands on and off since I was a teenager. I've played electric lead and rhythm, bass guitar and harmonica in Rock and Blues bands. The most recent was an Acoustic Blues band. I also write songs and a few years ago I recorded a 12-track album of my own music (un-released!). I still write songs and I would like to make a second album.

Influences
Many of my influences are from the 60's and 70's era, i.e. pop and soft rock. The Beatles are still my favourite band! As a teenager I loved the Blues and still do. Tom Petty, Chris Rea, Mark Knopfler, Gerry Rafferty, Eric Clapton, Albert Lee, The Eagles, The Shadows, Chet Atkins, Jeff Beck, JJ Cale, Ry Cooder, CSN, Tommy Emmanuel...and on and on!

EQUIPMENT
I have 3 acoustic guitars, plus a Fender Telecaster, Les Paul Studio, a heritage Gibson and a Hohner bass guitar, plus a few Harmonicas. I have a Fender Deluxe amp for electric and an AER acoustic amp. Then of course a few effects pedals which I don't use very often and my Vox Wahwah! which I love! I also have a mandolin which I'm learning to play.
