A Different Thread brings together the British singer-songwriter Robert Jackson and Appalachian fiddle player / singer Alicia Best.
Their original songs are inspired by the music that has crossed and cross crossed the Atlantic in true folk fashion from the murder ballads of England to the piedmont blues of North Carolina. The duo are both multi-instrumentalists including banjo, suitcase drum kit, guitar and harmonica.
