Hi Guys!
My name's Adam, I play guitar (mainly rhythm but I sometimes slip a cheeky bit of lead in too) and I sing.
I have been playing guitar since I was about 12/13 - only as a bedroom rocker though, I started gigging with my first band when I was about 15/16. Since then I have been in and out of bands throughout high school / college and also outside of those environments. I have played a wide variety of venues / style of gigs e.g. bars/pubs, outdoor festivals, charity events, private functions (military functions, birthdays, weddings, the Mayor of Darlington's Ball 2010) etc...
I am looking to form / join a function band in the Darlington / Richmondshire / Northallerton area.
I am commited, focused, motivated and hard working but at the same time I'm easy going, friendly, co-operative, open minded and I love performing on stage - there's nothing better!

Influences
I grew up listening to bands like Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Bon Jovi, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Diamond Head but between then and now my taste in music a vastly widened.
I just love music, doesn't matter what style or genre...as long as it feels great and sounds great that's all that matters!
There's so many amazing bands & artists out there, both past and present, it would be very unfair to call just a handful my influences.
EQUIPMENT
I've recently abandoned Marshall and have sold my JVM410H & 1960's cab and downsized to a BlackStar HT-60 2x12 Combo.
In the beginning I was all about Ibanez guitars, then moved on to Les Paul's and flying V's but now I'm rockin' a Fender Strat (HSS pickup config).
I use Boss & Ibanez guitar effects, planet waves cables, dunlop & ASBO picks (steel - for the attack), D'addario strings and EV Mic's.
