We are currently seeking a high energy, rock fuelled, easy-going but passionately committed drummer to join Aceldama. We are based in and around Birmingham and rehearse in Wolverhampton.
We have recently finished this year’s stint of summer gigs and festivals. Previous festivals we have played include Download Festival at Donnington in 2011, we have headlined Sonic Rock Solstice in Wales on two occasions and have played the Showcase stage at Leicester's Glastonbudget festival for the last 3 years running. Two years ago we also had the opportunity to travel to Slovenia to play Metal Camp 2010, playing on the same bill as Devil Driver and Hammer Fall. A European tour or gaining slots at some of the bigger European festivals is something we have planned for next year.
We have just recorded a video for the single ‘Collision’ taken from our new self titled album. The video is available to watch on youtube or on our website (www.aceldama.co.uk). We are having a launch party for the new CD at the 02 Academy 3 in Birmingham to release it.
Our music style ranges from melodic metal to hard rock. Some of our tracks are available to listen to on our website. For anyone interested in auditioning we can send you a link to more of the stuff from the new CD.
We are looking to find someone who has the passion and commitment that we have. We need someone with their own good quality gear, transport and the financial means to take opportunities that arise. We gig very regularly in and around the Midlands as well as further afield. We need someone who is willing to travel and put in the time and effort we do. We practice twice a week for anywhere between 3 and 8 hours.
On a lighter note we need someone with a sense a humour, will party till the break of dawn and become a member of the 'Dama crew.
