SEEKING

Bass Guitar.

ABOUT

Guitar-led Power Rock Trio - in the style of Cream/Hendrix/Mountain/Taste . CURRENTLY SEEKING BASS GUITARIST .

Emphasis on original riff based material intermingled with our own interpretations of cover songs we like that we can turn into something of our own.

We are seeking a new bass guitarist with similar backgound and experiences as our own. Ideally living in Sheffield or nearby (ie max 30mins travel) . Any further away will make meeting for practice etc too impractical to be workable.

You will need your own transport and equipment and be prepared to quickly learn our core set of original material and covers and bring new ideas and input into our sound. Vocals are a definate advantage - either backing or lead on some songs.

We realise that the current Virus situation is a nightmare and like other bands we have lost gigs, and it may take time to get back up to speed. However, although we wont be able to rehearse together initially we will find ways to help the new recruit get to grips with our material even at a distance.

You can contact us via FB or our dot com website.

Influences

We grew up in the 60s and saw rock music develop from the British Invasion movement and Blues boom. So early influences are all the guitar heroes of the time - Clapton. Hendrix. Peter Green, Jimmy Page, Rory Gallagher , Santana Alvin Lee etc and the guitar band of the 70s - like Wishbone Ash , Thin Lizzie, Mountain etc. Later influences would be the likes of Van Halen, Satriani and Malmsteen.

Members Of Band

Alex Oliver - Lead Guitar / Vocals
Mike Evans - Drums / Vocals

Band members are 60+ with 40 - 50 years playing experience and with nothing to prove . We've been around the block a few times and now want to enjoy ourselves . We've played about 50 gigs together in this band but individually 100's over the years.
We treat the music seriously but honestly don't expect to become the latest overnight sensations. BUT we do want to leave audiences wanting more and thinking "WOW !!!!"

We are seeking a new bass guitarist with similar background and outlook - ideally living in Sheffield or nearby.
