Sound Menagerie are a Cambridge UK based psych/pop band with leanings towards a unique combination of gothic, mod, psychedelic - yet very modern - styles.
The first album was released on CD in 2006, and was called 'Mirror the change'. A change in personnel took place in 2009 when the latest line-up featuring Abi Parker began working on songs for their album 'Far or through'
Clocks and Towers is the newest single and features Stereolab Drummer Andy Ramsay on Drums, as well as Joe Watson, also from Stereolab (and Junior Electronics) on Keyboards. It was produced and mixed by Andy Ramsay at Press Play in London.
Sound Menagerie have previously released two albums 'Mirror The Change' in 2006 and 'Far Or Through' in 2011 plus the single 'The Silver Tree/Hollow Lane' which featured guest lead guitar from Glenn Johansson of Echobelly & Calm Of Zero.
