LEAD VOCALIST / BASS PLAYER REQUIRED
THE BUSINESS has been playing pubs, clubs, weddings, parties and corporate events around the East Midlands for the last 12 years. A few years ago, the band went from a four piece to a three piece but is now looking to have four / five piece options for the bigger party gigs with the addition of vocalist / bass player and drummer.
Whilst the band typically does around between 30 – 40 gigs a year, the additional musicians would only need to be available for perhaps 12 to 15 gigs per year (but could do more if they wish). Usually gigs are within an hour travelling distance of Nottingham.
The existing band members are Nick (keyboards, background vocals), Kelvin (guitar, bass, vocals) and Neil (guitar, drums, bass, vocals). Hence, the band has a number of permutations available regarding instruments, but the key addition they are looking to make is for added lead vocals (boy or girl). It would be great if that person could also play bass but prepared to consider a great vocalist with no bass.
The set list consists of all the greatest pop and rock covers from the last 50 years that everyone knows and loves. We put on a professional show with lighting and always use a sound engineer. Our strap line is “Faithfully Recreating Classic Pop & Rock Hits From The 60’s To The Present Day!" Massively versatile and entertaining band.
