ABOUT

We are Vonroe, an originals band based in West London/Watford. We have been together since 2020, and are currently looking for a 5th member who plays keys, and lead-capable/rhythm guitar (our current lead guitarist has conflicting commitment at times, so will require covering him on some gigs). Our ideal new recruit will be flexible between keys, lead guitar and rhythm guitar duties. To confirm, as an originals band this is not paid. Commitment-wise, if needs be you can be more flexible, on a project basis. Our main concerns are getting keys covered on some songs/gigs, and the ability to cover the lead guitarist when necessary, or work in a dual-lead fashion.

Zebras, and we are looking for a drummer for an unlaunched 4-piece 80s inspired, hard rock, hair metal-esque band. We will be the full package. So far the band is formed of myself (George) on lead vocals, Jamie on Bass, and Ky on Guitar.

Our criteria is pretty strict, so please get in touch if you meet the below:

- Cool hair (not necessarily long), and proper sleazy 80's vibe in fashion
- Good looking/In fairly good shape - We want to run around, climb stages, crowd surfing solos. There'll be plenty of open shirts, and we're kidding no one if we say looks doesn't matter when trying to break the industry.
- Open to possibly wearing the likes of leggings, leather, makeup, heeled boots and all the sorts of 80s glam metal bands
- MUST be incredible at your instrument - The songs (to us) are game changing, and we want to ensure every member can blow our minds, and shine alone on stage and in the studio, so we need the best players around
- Being a good writer in this genre is a bonus but not required - Me and Jamie write very well together so we're not too fussed on writers and would rather take the majority of the reigns, but if you can compliment the songs, then happy days
- Attitude. We want rude, extremely talented entertainers. You should be willing to pull out some serious on-stage moves. It's not "all about the songs", it's about us being the coolest bunch of assholes in the room.
- Ideally based somewhere between London and Swindon - Me and Ky are from London (West and North), and Jamie is from Devizes (Swindon). We meet up regularly but unless you're willing to also trek to London for sessions it'll help you if you're nearby one of these locations
- Preferred, but not essential - Loving Jack Daniels - Our studio and writing sessions are fuelled exclusively by Jack Daniels. Come and join us!
- Disclaimer - We also full time jobs currently, so don't worry if your availability isn't perfect. As long as you're willing to work on making music your full time job when the time is right, we should all be happy.
