I have been playing music for about 15 years now, I first started playing when I watched some concert thing on the TV or something and I was like yeah I can do that. But, I recently retired as a secondary school teacher, I felt like it wasn't offering me enough in life and I decided to pur(sue)! my music career, better late than never, right?! I love to just get out a instrument and play it whenever I feel sad and it never fails to cheer me up! I write my own songs, some songs I've written are 'That's What Makes You Beautiful', 'YMCA' and 'Pillowtalk', all originals :) I like to write under an alias, otherwise the stardom will get to my head! If you would like to see an example of my work, just take a look at the top ten on the charts, chances are they're all by me. Most of my best work comes to me whilst on the loo, I find it is an excellent place to clear the mind (and the bladder! ;D) I'm looking for a band in and around the Manchester-Sheffield area, basically because my mum says if I'm serious about this whole music career thing I have to get a move on and find a band so I can move out before I'm 60!! I also feel that my love life is kind of lacking oomph at the moment, so I hope joining a band will open new options for me, because as you know, 'Love Is An Open Door' (also one of my works) please don't hesitate to get in touch if you like the sound of me ;) I'm very open and I love making friends!
