I compose music that combines classical sounds with synthetic/electronic sounds, producing music that is somewhat soundtrack-like in most cases. Some of my music can be quite "dark", whereas other pieces are more gentle/reflective. Some examples are on my SoundCloud.
Modern music software and samples provide me with the tools to create some nice music wherever I may be, however I would love to start incorporating some real instruments and also meet some like-minded musicians in the process.
I'm getting a "taste" for the sound of stringed instruments in my music, since working with some of the samples I have, so at the moment that's kind of what I'm looking for.
I'd also be interested in hearing from singers, particularly female ones, since I think a female voice may suit some of my music (I sing sometimes on my tracks but a low voice doesn't really work well in some cases!)

I listen to a wide range of music and feel I have been most influenced by: Enigma, Jogeir Liljedahl, Genesis, Amethystium, Linkin Park, Pink Floyd, Robert Miles, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Zilent Zpott, Trance Atlantic Air Waves, Vexare, Vangelis, Solar Stone, Conjure One, Skaven, Royksopp, (various other Amiga demoscene musicians)
