Just moved to Manchester from Bristol. Haven't been in a proper band in a long time but would love to meet new people to play music with.
I started playing music from the age of 6, picked up guitar around 10 years old and then started taking it properly seriously when I was 14.From then I was in a bunch of cringey rock and metal bands as a teenager but when I went to uni for film, I was never able to find people to properly play with.
Now I'm a professional with a full time, 9-6 job and would love to find people to play with on weekday evenings or weekends.
I mostly play Prog Metal type stuff, however I've been learning and playing much more Jazz recently. I've loved and played all sorts though from Indie, Classic Rock, Hardcore, Pop Punk, and much more. I'm getting far more into Post-Rock and Math Rock these days as well.
I bought my first 8 string 6 months ago so would love to utilise that in some way.
I play tin whistles, so for any of your folky needs.
I also do like to sing, had lots of practice in choirs and as a backing singer. Love me some good harmonies. But wouldn't mind trying as a lead too.
