The Union Station Massacre have been variously described as post-rock, art-rock or just good old rock, and likened to bands such as Radiohead, Interpol, Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Some excerpts of our songs can be heard on our website at unionstation.co.uk and also on our MySpace site.

We've been together for a while, played a few gigs in Nottingham and around the country, and written quite a bit of material. We're serious about our music, and we're looking for equally dedicated musicians. We're also on the lookout for occasional contributors / collaborators (for recording rather than gigging) so if you don't have the time to commit to joining the band feel free to get in touch anyway.

We are currently looking to expand our line-up, and since all of our current members play a variety of different instruments, we really don't mind what you play! However, we are particularly looking for orchestral instrument players at the moment, and also for male or female vocalists. But a love for this type of music and the ability to write and play creatively is far more important than what instrument you play.
