I'm currently studying a music degree so I can go into teaching. I am a singe mother to a 9yr old boy so am looking for something fun to get me out of the house and meet new people with similar interests. I play a few instruments but am probably best on tenor sax. I'm not good at improvising or playing by ear but one of my strongest points has always been sight-reading. I find this useful as a church pianist as I often don't have the hymn list until Saturday afternoon!! I have played sax and trumpet with a jazz band and sax, tuba and trumpet with a marching band so am looking for something else to do.

Influences
I will pretty muh play anything that's put in front of me. I generally play what I'm in the mood for which could be anything from Mozart to Elton John. If I have to sing I prefer mellow, bluesy songs.
EQUIPMENT
I don't have anything electrical but I do have instruments I play, and a few I don't! It's a work in progress with me, I like to try it all.
