Music has kept me young....I first played when only 14....one of my first gigs was at the Black Cat Club in Sheffield, Peter Stringfellows opening effort at running a music venue, I believe we were paid around £8 for our services....Pete was worried about how much to charge punters for a forthcoming visit from 4 lads from Merseyside who wanted £60....I wonder whatever happened to them....at present I am in a duo paying tribute to the Everly Brothers music, but throughout my long musical I played mostly Bass and Keyboards as well as doing most of the lead vocals.
