Hi,
I'm a guitarist looking to join a band - mainly for fun, but would be prepared to commit more if it looked like the band had something good going and worth pushing further. I've played lead guitar for around 25 years and I love stuff that rocks (from softer stuff to Metal). I can shred if necessary and have decent gear. I love to be creative and I'm fun to work with.
I can also play bass - mainly with a pick, but I find that generally suits stuff that rocks anyway. I'm also a sound engineer with access to pub-sized PA gear and a recording studio. Can record/compose/produce.

Influences
I love most things that rock. Bands/artists that have heavily influenced my guitar playing are Queen, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Dream Theater, Megadeth, Metallica, AC/DC, Led Zep, Van Halen.
I quite fancy doing something a bit different - perhaps something Goth/Symphonic Rock/Industrial/Alternative. Other band influences of this nature are Rammstein, The Mission, The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, Ministry, Gary Numan.
