I am looking for an existing Jazz Band and / or Jazz Musicians to form a Jazz Band to record some CDs / Albums for various projects and to perform live gigs.
The music style is loosely based around and Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Lena Horne, Jo Stafford, Julie London, Judy Garland, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Joe Pass, Oscar Peterson, Herb Ellis, Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich, Wes Montgomery, Charlie Parker, etc.
The Projects are to record a series of themed Jazz CDs / Albums, e.g.,The Great American Songbook, Gershwin Songbook, Harold Arlen Songbook, as well as themes on Weather, Places, etc.
