Looking for Keys/Vocalist/Guitarist for Live Gigs for Funk/Rock band
Greetings fellow musician!
Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Joe Fin - frontman of funk/rock London trio Superbird
We are looking for a multi-instrumentalist whose strengths lie in keys/vocals/guitar to come and play onstage with us at our live concerts. Our band's sound and style rebirths nostalgia of the golden days of glam funk & rock n’ roll whilst offering something completely fresh and with a unique identity.
We're looking to step up our live shows by adding the inclusion of another musician who can help bring another dimension to our stage sound.
Here’s a brief history on the group: In 2019 our debut release 'Cola Bottle Fizz' became the theme tune to 'The Sara Cox Show' on ITV for a 4 month run, culminating with us performing live on the show. Since then we have had multiple features on various daytime TV programmes including, ‘This Morning’, ‘Lorraine’, ‘Sunday Brunch’, ‘London Live’ & ‘Good Morning Britain’, thanks to the connections we have built alone.
Crowned by BBC Introducing 'Band of the Year' - with a live recording at BBC Maida Vale Studios under our belt, we've also built up a loyal fan base across our social networks, and prior to the pandemic (in our breakthrough year) we had begun to sell-out 150 cap’ venues across London. To say the least, we are completely ecstatic about performing live to our fans again as the lockdown restrictions end...and we have big plans.
Our music is eclectic and energetic, we write exciting, commercial songs that we feel are of a global quality… But our core strength lies in our live performance. This is where the band truly comes to life, and this is where hopefully you come in.
As a band we are going to to start booking more shows: National support\headline tours, festivals and live streams...etc.
