I'm looking to get out there and practice singing and song writing alongside a band. I don't have a massive amount of experience,
I just want to commit more to music, as it brings me the most joy. My partner is a gigging musician in a local band and it has opened my eyes to the possibilities. I bought a bass a few weeks ago now and he is teaching me, but I'd like to get out there on my own. I'm no where near ready to call myself a bassist but I would love to be a gigging vocalist.
Anyway, I just want to give it a go and meet some like-minded musicians. No pressure and a stress-free environment would be perfect so that we can grow as musicians together, if something comes from it - that would be a great plus! Perhaps some covers at first to get into the swing of things, but I do have some of my own material we could give a go at some point. I have an extremely broad idea of the type of genre, so let's get experimental!
