We are currently a 3 piece (guitar, bass, drums) looking for a likeminded singer.
Musically it is down tuned, some interesting time signatures, song structures and dynamics, a little bit proggy but not full blown space cadet. Long songs, but with space for some big vocal hooks and choruses. Really pretty heavy at times, but not throughout.
Plenty of tunes ready to go, a couple more pretty much there, and plenty of ideas in the pipeline. No shortage of content to get stuck into.
Looking for someone to bring some vocal ideas to it, not necessarily dead set on a particular style, but would need to be able to come up with and hold solid melodies and a strong enough voice to hold up in the heavy parts.
We are all in our 30s and have busy lives, so the aim isn’t to go off touring for weeks on end. We aim to practice once a week and hopefully we get some stuff recorded and some gigs booked in the not too distant future. We’re doing this for fun and as a creative outlet, so the right person would need to not only fit musically, but be someone we also get on with on a personal level.
