Formed in the '80's' by punk writer/ film director Chris Ward, Wet Paint Theatre/Films ‘Bringing anarchy once more into the art cinema forum’ (N.M.E).

Wet Paint is characterised by its mixture of , rock musicians and non-professional artists. Among the performers who have worked with the company are Richard Jobson, Beki Bondage,Ruth Radish (Hagar the Womb), Max Splodge, Honey Bane, Siobhan Fahey. Donny Tourette and Lindsay Armaou

Chris has been championed by Time Out as one of the leading revolutionary film-makers of the punk generation. His films, have led him into collaborative works with such filmmakers as Julian Temple, Mark Reichert and Derek Jarman. Wet Paint's work has been seen at festivals and at gigs across the UK.

His film 'What Shall We Do With Drunken Sailor' has been screened at the Riverside Studios, Hammersmith, Ritzy, Brixton. Hackney Picturehouse and his last feature 'Camberwell Beauty' received its world premiere at the Riverside Studios in May 2014. Currently in pre-production with 'Hound' ( life of the drug-crazed,poet Francis Thompson) due to commence shooting in late 2015./early 2016.
