Allegro Andantino is a progressive rock band created in February 2001 by Danilo Villegas (Guitar). Its name is made up of two musical terms: fast and slow movements, from lowest to highest speed or vice verse. Up until 2005, Danilo dedicated his life to write songs and to find the perfect blend of musicians that would create the sound that he always dreamed of. This is how the musical personalities of Ruben Limas (Drums), Jose Palomares (Keyboards), Gregorio Oquendo (Voice) and Jose Ledezma (Bass) merged to create what many have called a “Progressive Revolution.” The coupling between the five was like they have played together for a lifetime, not only music but by brotherhood. Inspired by this creative environment, Danilo decided to compose new songs based on the influences of the band. By adding Ruben setbacks and aggressive cuts, Jose melodies and eerie sounds on the keyboard, Jose L. Precise arrangements and bases, and Gregory energetic melodies, the band wrote what would become their characteristic aggressiveness and complex patterns. In 2009 Allegro Andantino decided to record their first album which took the to travel to several locations from Caracas and Valencia (Venezuela) to London (UK). This is how Pathfinder was created. Today, band is based in London promoting the new album and attracting a growing audience every day.
