ABOUT

Hi my name is Alanna Duggan. I am 25 years old and I am from a small town called kilrea county L’Derry.

I have been playing classical music and Irish traditional music from the age of 6 u til 18. I took a break from music for a few years after I had my daughter. I have now been back playing about 4 years and currently do a bit of private teaching.

I am now interested in taking on a new challenge of becoming part of a quartet or small group to play at wedding ceremonies/receptions/funerals etc. I just require some guidence and help to get set up and become successful with the right group.

Influences

My biggest influence at the minute is a man called Phillip Bowen. He is on YouTube and I think his violin solos he has started to perform are amazing and he is very talented.
