Guitarist from Birmingham
First of all, my parents and my uncle always listened to good music. There were a lot of great musicians and guitarists in the mainstream music, lot of great guitar solos as well. This was a minimum not a disadvantage as nowadays.
For nce, I met Billy Sheehan at the London Guitar Show a few months ago, and I told him the Skyscraper from David Lee Roth was one of the best rock albums ever. He said that "Oh My God those days...” I suggest that album to everybody. Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan, David Lee Roth.
So back to my story. I was born in Hungary. A little country that is famous for the classical music composers(Bartok, Kodaly, Liszt...) and jazz musicians. I was learning classical music history and theory in my Primary School years, but I was listening to modern music.
I really wanted to be a guitarist, and I got an acoustic guitar from my parents. I learned a lot of lovely songs, and I asked an electric guitar from Santa Claus :-) I got it and I joined bands in the Secondary school . I had some great private guitar teachers in those years. I was inspired by them, and I was influenced by the music from the radio.
I moved to Germany and I was living and playing music there for years. This was a quite nice experience as well.
In 2004 I met Laslo Sebastian and his brother, and I joined them band. This was a trio. We were playing funk music. I played a lot of great shows with this band (Alem da Lemda ) in Hungary, Belgium, Germany, UK etc...and I learned a lot of things from these shows and from the rehears. Slowly, but surely my own world of music and my style of playing was born...
I have been living in the UK from 2006. I have a little home studio in the attic room of the house where I live. I do what I like the best. Working on songs on alone or with great musicians.
