I've been playing/practicing guitar regularly for the last 2-3 years. I was playing prior to that but with no degree of consistency. I play everyday for an hour or two. I've also been taking lessons for about a year and a half.
I've developed a fair degree of competency and I'm continuing to improve. I'm looking to find someone to jam with, bounce ideas off and do a few gigs.
I was in a band about 20 years ago and we did around ten or so gigs but I've not done any since. I enjoy songwriting but feel I work better as a collaborator.

Influences
I'm into Radiohead though I can't say the extent to which that influences my style. I've grown up listening mostly to indie/alternative guitar music (Smiths, Cure, Suede) and the bands who influenced them.
I really like playing the Hendrix-embellishment stuff - the chord/lead sound like on "Little Wing", "Wind Cries Mary" that kind of thing.

EQUIPMENT
I mainly play a strat or a tele. I've got a decent-sounding Blues Jnr clone amp and a good variety of pedals (overdrive, distortion, reverb, delay and wah).
