Influences

Rock and 80's metal are initial influences but today I listen to, and try to learn, many different playing styles. Heavily influenced by Todd Sucherman - especially his Rock Drumming Masterclass on Drumeo. Simon Phillips, Neil Peart and Steve Smith to name but a few, all drummers I refer to and try to learn from every day.

Music is super important to me - I could only choose 4 genres above but I'm also super into Country, Alt. Country (16 horsepower, Wovenhand), Blues, Funk, Pop - almost anything. I'm not a metal drummer but love hairy metal of the 80's. Lots of stuff to be honest and willing to give almost anything a go. Fast and conscientious learner.
