Been playing for 30 odd years - when I was younger did quite a bit - had a break but in the last 5 years i play much more - play/practising every day and listening to a wide range of music. Recently played for a while with a funk band. And for around 4 years accompanied a female singer on acoustic guitar - did a number of gigs.

Influences
Folk from Sandy Denny and rock and blues of the 60s and 70s through to indie from the 80s onwards - as well as female vocalists: Alison Krauss, Rhiannon Giddens and Imelda May, and male vocalists Paul Weller and Robert Plant - overall I have a very wide and diverse taste in music and always open to new sounds.
