ABOUT

I am a 51yr old fella looking for a covers band to play and gig. Just to have a bit of fun and enjoy the music. I have a lot of band experience but do not pretend to be the greatest drummer in tge world. I am a self taught enthusiast not a technical genius. Interested in the punk/alternative /pop.
I am no wannabe rock star and have a very busy work and family life but have been always been committed to rehearsing every week and gigging whenever possible. I have been playing in a successful covers band for the last 7 years and before that in various bands since a teenager. Love live music and would love to find another opportunity to play as our band has folded.

Influences

I have a huge range of tastes as an original punk in the early 80s I have always liked the alternative, indie, Sounds, guitar bands and that something a little different from the mainstream. I have enjoyed playing a huge variety of covers too many to mention from the stones, velvets and faces, through joy division, damned, buzzcocks, covering The Foos, Killers, kaisers and Kings And more modern stuff like Jesse J, Immelda May and even a bit of blues. My all time passion is the Pixies. I am comfortable playing most stuff but not prog rock, metal, thrash or jazz.
