In & out of bands in the 80s, & was particularly keen on the rock genre from that decade, e.g. Ozzy, Van Halen, Whitesnake, Metallica, Guns&Roses, Thunder, Dokken etc. Time taken out for mortgage, kids, work etc - you get the picture! Have recently been checking out many of the new bands out there, a lot who are on the group NWOCR (new wave of classic rock). Now re-vitalised to get back on the gigging circuit, even thinking about growing the hair again(easier said than done at my age!), and who knows? Have lots of song ideas, but recently playing in a part-time covers band and feeling frustrated/disillusioned about it. I REALLY want to work with people who would like to try original material and make a good go at getting somewhere with it.
