I am a jazz, funk, latin drummer. Started with rock and latin as everyone does to learn, then moved into jazz 7 years in. My preferred genres are jazz and funk, with the best being a jazz-funk combo like johnny hammond smith's 'soul talk - 1970' as an example. Don't be fooled by my age, I very much prefer to play with older musicians as my taste in music is not common among my generation. I am in London over the summer and would love to join a band to play gigs and make some money, possibly continuing on long term. I've recently taken a break from playing much music as I am at university without access to equipment, but would love to start up again.
