Band to Join, Keyboard, Drums, Bass Guitar.

ABOUT

I'm a lead/rhythm guitarist looking to form a 5-piece band in the West London area comprising vocalist, keyboards, guitars, drum and bass; for pub gigs and occasional events anywhere in the South East. Looking to play pub rock/blues and some jazz numbers but I prefer to avoid playing 'popular' standard covers as a general rule, as there's a wealth of lesser-known stuff out there that's already written and just waiting to be resurrected. Either way, I believe that any repertoire has to revolve around the vocalist's abilities and character.

My playing style tends to be laid-back improvisational/interpretive and interactive with what the other musicians are doing. In other words I play what I feel, sometimes can be loaded with energetic expression, other times just hanging in the background. It all depends on what else is going on ...

I have sufficient time available to make this work and am looking to get rehearsing soon. I like to use SongGalaxy as a method for everyone to learn the songs and their individual bits so that when we get together to rehearse we can hit the ground running.

Guitars: Fender Strat American deluxe, Gibson Les Paul Standard, Fender Strat Roadworn, Fender Telecaster Thinline, Fender Telecaster Custom, Gibson SG Special, Jim Reed Les Paul, Danelectro Suede, an old Westbury Deluxe and last but not least my cherished & trusty Columbus Strat.

Amps: Fender Cyber-Twin SE combo, Marshall JVM410 combo, Fender Hotrod Deluxe Combo. Orange Tiny Terror head and separate Orange cab, an old and worn Laney bass amp. Park practice amp.
