My name is Drake Bennett
I started Learning guitar at a young age, around year 9 I believe. I taught myself everything I could without much help into I got into 6th form where I picked up in skill and technique due to the music course I had been accepted into. during the course I managed a band, created a single and worked in a musical for 'We Will Rock You'. At the end of 6th form, I presented my set of skills on my exam day by playing an acoustic song, Electric Lead and a Lead Vocal song. Smashing the grade I couldnt have felt happier, however once I got to University playing the guitar become difficult to do with the short amount of free time I had when working on my animation course.
I still have all my equipment and have the energy and feel to bring myself back up to pace but I need more of a reason and time to play. Finding this site should help with getting in contact with fellow musicians that want to play for fun and practice as well as create and maybe gig.
I have missed the environment of being in a band and being on stage so I hope I am able to bring that back again soon.

Influences
I never really had many influences throughout my time playing the guitar i guess I have a small amount but my main influence was just to become cool really, I know its lame but that's pretty much why I wanted to play
