Despairplane is currently a Grunge solo project that I would very much like to become a full band. I recorded the first record entirely myself, but only because at the time there wasn't really anyone else there who shared the same musical sensibilities as me.
I plan to record a new album soon. I would very much appreciate full input on the songwriting process from all members in anything we write in the future.

Influences
The music is primarily Grunge/Alternative and Sludge Metal based, but also delves into other genres such as Noise Rock, Classic Rock, Punk, and at times even Shoegaze, Jangle Pop and Crossover Thrash.
Band influences would be bands such as Nirvana, TAD, Black Flag, Melvins, Skin Yard/Gruntruck, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Alice in Chains, Corrosion of Conformity, Soundgarden, Bad Brains, The Byrds, REM and The Pixies.
