I'm in the South Birmingham area and looking for collaborators.
I'm old enough to know better and I've done lots. Too much to bore you with here.
I don't do widdly widdly guitar solos and I don't wear leather trousers.
I have a few musical projects, and the I love the people I play with, but I have space for something special.
Open to all sorts of suggestions, but particularly looking for anyone interested in:
Folky, roots, indie, groovy things, with edgy indie ingredients, maybe technology, lots of vocal harmony, left leaning themes.
A mixture of original material and covers with a twist.
Stylistically think: Band of Joy, meets Suede, meets KT Tunstall, meets Seth Lakeman meets InVocal (seriously, check them out, they're on Spotify), meets the Alabama 3, meets the Oyster Band meets the Mediaeval Baebes meets the Bad Shepherds.
I'm also interested in playing bass for other people's things too.
