SEEKINGBand to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.
Hello! I'm a 22 year old gigging and touring musician with specialties in Lead and Rhythm guitar playing as well as singing either backup or lead with a diverse knowledge of harmonies.
I have played many instruments in my time and can often be found to pick up most things very quickly as I play by sight most of the time.
I am a trained sound engineer and know my way around both digital audio workstations and reel to reel tape recorders. I have great experience recording whole bands simultaneously.
I come ready with all the equipment I need to play gigs but am still trying to get through learning to drive - so getting it there is still a small issue.

Love On A Wire
Love On A WireA re-envisionment of this old song of mine was due for some time! I'm really happy that it's come out this way, the original never really got on well with me. This time featuring backing vocals from the lovely Keira Gray <3 Music and lyrics by me. Production and mix by me too.
I Want It All
I Want It AllWithout further ado, here is the culmination of our efforts towards our first song together. With lyrics by my lovely Keira, and instrumentation and production from me <3 We really hope you enjoy!
I'm Not Moving - Phil Collins - Cover by Connor
I'm Not Moving - Phil Collins - Cover by ConnorI'm still trying to get my mixes right, bare with me! ----- My very own re-imagining of a classic Collins hit from his 1981 album "Face Value," one of my favourites! Now that I have a Mac again, songs will be becoming more complex henceforth. This is just a taster of what is to come...

I Wish I Knew Now
I Wish I Knew NowThought I'd put this one down on the new microphone and see what you all think of it, I've had this one for a while now! Lyrics originally a poem by Eddie Nash, edited for this song by myself.
Cloudbusting - Kate Bush - Cover by Connor
Cloudbusting - Kate Bush - Cover by ConnorI finally bought a USB microphone and thought I'd try out it's capabilities as a studio microphone, this was recorded 'as live' so no perfect audio files. I hope you enjoy!
Falling In Love - Elvis Presley - Cover by Connor Johnson, Keira Gray & Alan Thompson
Falling In Love - Elvis Presley - Cover by Connor Johnson, Keira Gray & Alan ThompsonHeyo! If you came to the little gig me and Alan did at the Treaty on Friday you might've caught this number being played - it went down rather well so we decided to record a quick version of it to commemorate it! This version features Keira, Alan's girlfriend too - backing me up with a high octave harmony! Hope you enjoy! Recorded on Keira's iPhone 6 and boosted in audacity.
Wouldn't Change A Thing - Demo Version
Wouldn't Change A Thing - Demo VersionIt's been a very long time since I've been able to record anything since my rig is down, so I'm pushing out some of the last things I did before I stopped as a way of filling this time. Apologies for it only being half-baked but I really think this one is worth giving a listen! I've had the song for a long time but felt that it was missing a few things, I therefore took action into filling the spaces and added string and drum parts in turn. I hope you like it! Entirely composed and recorded by myself at home~
She May Cry (2016 Version)
She May Cry (2016 Version)I recently redesigned this previously unreleased track for use as background music on Youtube videos to be used by others and decided that it was time to liven things up over here again! Hope you like it~

Ewa Beach V3
Ewa Beach V3After a long of nothing I felt it was time to revitalise one of my old Electro songs. Without a working interface I have no way of recording anything so for now I won't be uploading anything acoustic or Indie related. Ewa Beach is as 80's inspired as my work gets really - fueled by my love for bands such as The Human League. I only set out to make something that would be catchy, bouncy and very, very cheesy. I'll let you be the judge lol
Rhiannon - Fleetwood Mac - Cover by Connor
Rhiannon - Fleetwood Mac - Cover by ConnorI've always wanted to cover this, but I never had the time before. Rhiannon in D minor - in tribute to my favourite live version of a song ever.
Start AgainI've been working on this for months now, finally finished it yesterday! :D
HeroesJust a short thing I've been working on when I get bored occasionally. Haven't done a synth song in a while, might be another soon!
Scars - Kick - Cover by Connor
Scars - Kick - Cover by ConnorAs promised; a new cover, and a particularly special cover at that! Ever since it was released by it's own creators, I loved this song, it's really a masterpiece. ^.^ Here's my own spin, I hope it's up to standards!

Cloudfest - Dexters - Cover by Connor
Cloudfest - Dexters - Cover by ConnorAfter touring with the band as a merch boy and roadie in May of this year, I fell in love with this song. We had the pleasure of performing the cover live with Tom in the middle of the year and I thought it was about time I tried it alone, and so, here is what I came up with. :) Recorded this morning and mixed this evening, I'm quite proud with how it came out, baring in mind I am still getting over my week-long cold! I hope you like it! The song was written and belongs to the Dexters!
Go Insane - Cover by Connor
Go Insane - Cover by ConnorI thought I would give this one a shot, I really enjoy it! ^.^ This is more so a cover of the original 1980's hit version, not Lindsey's solo version if anything.
Trails In The Sky
Trails In The SkyTrails in the sky is actually an old song, I re-played a lot of tracks and this is the result! ^.^

Basement Nation - Hard To Explain (2014 Remix)
Basement Nation - Hard To Explain (2014 Remix)I have been harboring a mix of this for years now. I just finished updating it so I thought I might show it to the world this time round. This is the same recording released on our ever-so-popular EP, but this version is what would have been used if we had been that good at our jobs. I apologize to Michael Solomini for not using any of his parts in the song. One, I couldn't decided whether you'd allow me to use them or not and two, because I don't have the recording captured at Jonathan Vears' studio session. A free download is available if you really want to get into the nostalgia.

Avenida De Mayo (Final Cut) featuring Zac Rubin
Avenida De Mayo (Final Cut) featuring Zac RubinYou won't believe how high quality this edit is, simply because I can and I want to it is at a bit rate of 9,216,000. Deal with it. Because of this I haven't even bothered to add a download because it would take an hour with even the fastest of internet connections and computers. Please enjoy the final version of this song featuring considerable content from Zac Rubin who as you can imagine made a lot of fuss about having perfect off beat clapping patterns, my god was it worth it though. Ewa BeachNow if only I could play the Saxophone... Was playing around with stuff and wrote this while I couldn't do anything because of the tube strike.

Iron Fist - Updated Mix
Iron Fist - Updated MixAn updated version of a song released just under a year ago. Best served in stereo.
Face to Face
Face to FaceI had a horrbily mutilated guitar track thanks to my audio interface (its a firewire) and I decided to make something of it. I just sort of swung with it and it turned into a very solemn beat. Hope you like it :)
Nice Day V4
Nice Day V4Hello there! Connor here with a new/ old sound for you! this is a year on remix of Nice Day featuring Katie Epps on the backing vocals. Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoyed it! -Connor J Copyright Connor S Johnson 2013.
Please Don't Let Me Go
Please Don't Let Me GoWritten just before Mrs. Jackson was this song was rather forgotten about in terms of popularity, but I wish it well here on sound cloud, mainly because of its downward spiralling chorus, but also because the kids these days love a good sad song with predictable lyrics! X) Feel of this song is sad all round, get yer' tissues ready.
Mrs. JacksonMy latest song, Mrs. Jackson is a real attempt at creating a real attempt at creating a real sort of country toe tapper. The lyrics are about a powerful woman who sits high in the legal charts but turns bad and gets herself in trouble with the working class man when she starts moving from town to town stealing all the hard earned tax payers money, The moral is its wrong, using "Ol'Joe" as our anti-hero figure who captures Mrs.Jackson and makes sure she is never heard of again, unfortunately our modern day world isn't as bad for the criminal as it was a long time ago, as so they'll continue to do bad.
Call my Name
Call my NameMy second song, the catchiest of all in my mind! Call my Name WAS written before Cheryl Cole's dismal approach to a pop song came out, I should sue her ass but I'm not that kind of person really, I work for my money thank you very much but if she sues me I am going to crack down so hard on her Lol. The feel of this song is lively yet lyrics are sad, a recipe for a good love song, but thats just my opinion.
Breathe (with real drums from Andrew Antoniou)
Breathe (with real drums from Andrew Antoniou)This was first song written February 2012 and is currently the only song I have that was written on the infamous Spider-Capo, which makes this song impossible to play any other way unfortunately. But either way creates a mood of 'moving along' in this world with lyrics of love and holding back. This song really plays well in my mind :)
