I'm a Play At Home Dad with around 2 years guitar playing experience. I have never played live or in a band or with other people before, this is my first step towards playing with other musicians.
The amateurs have to start somewhere right?
I'm looking for people to just jam and have a laugh with on a regular basis - nothing heavy or serious I just love to play. I'm NOT looking to gig just yet, I'm not proficient enough.
I class myself as a beginner and can play 10+ songs fairly cleanly off the top of my head (always learning more too) I am NOT Hendrix or the late great Van Halen! I'm just playing along to some of my favorite bands at home like a sad loner.
I will have a crack at singing but i have not yet mastered singing and playing guitar at the same time yet - it all goes to sh*t! But i will get there............
I can't read sheet music and learn songs from TABS. Sacrilege right? I'm just being honest about my skill level.
I have a van and access to a space where noise level is no problem (weekends only).
