ABOUT

I am an Edinburgh songwriter and a previous winner of the Burnsong International Songwriting competition. I have been lucky enough to gig with the likes of Karine Polwart, The Beautiful South, Horse, Seasick Steve, Ian McNabb and The Coal Porters and have played everywhere from King Tuts to Celtic Connections to the Loch Lomond Folk Festival. A song of mine was used in a major BBC drama starring David Tenant last year and I'm about to record my third album. I'm looking for a fiddle player, mainly, to do acoustic gigs, but open to fun, laid back musicians and singers who play anything and want to make great music, play great gigs and have a laugh with it all. I'm a rotten guitar player. So if you can help me out on that, great.

"It's hard to express the joys of Twelve Tall Tales. It kicks off with Roads, a country-tinged gem that is as wonderful as anything written by Teenage Fanclub. It's already shaping up as my song of the summer. Just buy the album." The Daily Record
