The Doghouse Gypsies hailing from the Forest of Dean . We are " Hopefully " going to be a 4 piece ol skool rock n roll , hard rock 70/80s band ....... Think down the lines of Neil young , Sabbath , Rose Tattoo , Black stone cherry , Buck cherry .... Basically foot tappin stuff that peoples enjoy whether in a large venue or just down the local pub .
We are currently , Bass Guitar , Vocal , Drums ..... Looking for a easy going Lead guitarist to keep this happy Doghouse on the road and some one who wants to make a name for him/herself . Many gigs can booked for next year inc a one week tour in Italy . We are not a karaoke band , we also have a good amount of original material BUT alas none is recorded yet . We have just started track work on out first album and its looking good , we also have a great selection of covers as we will be " Keeping the door open " for as many gigs as possible .
The Doghouse Gypsies were formed in May 2012 .
We are a very mixed age ,serious band although we are doing some very easy covers to get us up and running again . We will not ask you to sell your soul for the band but will hope and expect you to actually want to play and practise and song write at least once a week .
