I'm an experienced trumpet and keyboard player. (grade 8 trumpet and grade 7 piano). I can sing backing vocals and play bass guitar (basic-intermediate.. still learning).

I have experience of playing in bands including five years with a reggae/punk band called Copasetics.

I'm interested in working with musicians of a similar competency, who want to write original material. I'm not interested in being in a covers band or playing stuff that's already written - I'd like to collaborate and write my own parts of songs.

I'm looking for:

I've mainly played ska, reggae, punk material and find it easy to write that kind of material. I'm also into dance music and have been for years so working on some dance tracks would be cool. I am currently obsessed with The Neighbourhood - I love that ambient guitar atmospheric reverby sound... I guess that's why I love some reggae/dub as well - that sound is amazing. Also loving Future Islands at the moment... so if anyone wanted to have a go at writing something along the lines of that, I'd be interested.
