SEEKING
Drums, Violin, Cello.ABOUT
Aiming to deliver a a diverse collection of simple folk/rock songs. Using any instrument that fits the bill, but mainly guitar, bass, drums and piano.
I have been playing in bands for too many years waiting for the technology to catch up with my plans. Fleeting and vague major label interest in 1990 came to nought and ever since I've kept myself busy doing nothing.
Now with many examples of DIY success popping up everyday I am putting a few songs together and dipping my toe back in the musical pond.

Dreamscape 007 01 - 05 - 2020 - Self Mastered CD
Dreamscape 007 01 - 05 - 2020 - Self Mastered CDThis is the first of at least 3 versions of Dreamscape 007 I intend to release this year. I composed, played, programmed, produced, mixed and mastered this over a couple of weeks of evenings in April 2020 whilst adjusting to lock down. I was looking for an emotional, chilled feel. It is the first of 5 new songs I have boiling in the pot. As for the video for years I have had a recurring dream that I'm riding across the land around the farm and as luck would have it I have a short clip of my dad riding his horse rounding cattle up in 1966. This is what I based the video on. As for the 007. When I played the initial doodling for this track Danni said it sounded like the makings of a Bond theme, so I gave it the working title of Dreamscape 007. As many of you know writing lyrics is a long drawn out process for me and I have a number of lyrics I'm still working on but at this time I'm not happy that adding any vocal onto the track would make any improvement. It definitely stands as an instrumental theme. I do have a mix that switches the guitars and has more lead lines and different guitar sounds but it's still a work in progress. I hope you get to listen to this through some decent speakers or headphones cause there's more going on than can be squeezed out of a smartphone. Enjoy, Stuart

Stuart James Wright - Days End
Stuart James Wright - Days EndThis is an initial mix of tune that sounds like something you'd maybe hear at the end of a really sad film or TV drama. :-) What do you think? All comments gratefully received.

Stuart James Wright - Breakaway (Free Download)
Stuart James Wright - Breakaway (Free Download)Breakaway is a mid paced rock ballad featuring powerful guitar licks, ironic vocals, thumping drums overlaid with Cellos and sonic musings from my Tele cranked up to 11. The darkest track I've done in years.
