Crosscut Saw, award winning blues artists have enjoyed gigging and performing at blues festivals such as Colne Great Rhythm and Blues Festival, Burnley Blues Festival, Bishops Stock Blues Festival and Memphis International Blues Challenge and are looking forward to playing at the main Blues festivals again this coming year along with live performances details of which to be found on their website www.crosscutsaw.co.uk or listen on www.myspace.co./crosscutsaw
The band have a combined 65 years worth of playing experience with some of the worlds leading musicians; Muddy Waters son Big Bill Morganfield, Otis Grand, Sugar Ray, Ian Siegal, King Rollo, Freddy James, Cecil Zinyuku, James O’Hara, Little Toby Walker, TJ Norton, Bob Hall, The New Mastersounds, The Haggis Horns [Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson] and Corrine Bailey-Rae to name but a few.
In addition to their own authentically crafted material, Crosscut Saw pay tribute to such greats as Muddy Waters, RL Burnside and Buddy Guy. Recently Crosscut Saw supported Dr Feelgood and have toured with American artists Eddie Blue & The Ravens and Jake Walker.
Having won the British heat of the International Blues Challenge, with D-Marie and the Blues Donor, the band competed in the semi finals Memphis USA to critical acclaim.
Crosscut Saw are currently recording their second album at Factory Street studios, Bradford.

The Leeds based band consist of front man Alex Eden on vocals, electric guitar and harmonica and Richard Ferdinando on Drums and Richard Green on bass.

Authenticity and longevity are two attributes prized by blues musicians more than most – and Crosscut Saw have no shortage of both qualities.
The Leeds-based band are no strangers to European wide audiences and will be renewing acquaintances in your area this month.
In addition to their own material, they play tribute to such greats as Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy and, while touring Europe to promote their album In Debt you Bet! have worked with numerous top blues names.
Recently they've supported Dr. Feelgood, touring with US blues stalwarts Eddie Blue & The Ravens and Jake Walker, and played most the big British blues festivals.
With front man Alex Eden, who was named Blues Musician of the Year in 2003, on vocals, guitar and harmonica plus a rhythm section comprising the two Richards – Ferdinando on drums, Green on bass – Crosscut Saw have been putting on a show since Adam was a lad and are sure to do the same at this upcoming gig.
