We make no apologies for being a rock band. Firewild is very much in the Classic Rock space, primarily because we love that, but also because there's room for it in a market that increasingly vanilla, formula and algorithm driven. The flavour is deeply melodic hard rock - think Tom Petty, Springsteen, Thunder, Bryan Adams, Stones, Eagles, Bad Company, Black Crowes, UFO, Free, Thin Lizzy, The Verve, Led Zeppelin. These bands, and the songs we like playing, all have a high level of emotion and songwriting, evocative of highways, landscapes and wide open spaces, and a bit of old-school cool and soul. Though the style is hard-edged and gritty, it's also got some sass and strut, tight but loose, light and shade, a bit of swing.

Always on the lookout for good music venues and audiences whenever possible, and we always try to make our gigs events.
